Teaching Certificate in Baby Massage

This course is open to anyone over the age of 18. It is ideal for beginners who have no previous experience or for experienced therapists to add this training to extend their career.

The first year of life forms the foundation of trust and security for a child’s future. Being held, caressed, and cuddled are part of providing a loving environment during this initial and critical period of bonding.

Massaging a baby is likely to promote a loving and positive experience, but not only for the baby it is mutually rewarding as it not only encourages the babies development, but also helps to create a bond between parent/guardian and baby, as well as aiding with minor ailments.

Touch stimulates new-borns physical, as well as emotional, health and may indeed be necessary to stimulate the release of certain neurohormones and chemicals that promote a healthier immune system.

Our face to face training courses are a very hands on day, you will be required to read your manual at home, in depth, to gain a good understanding of your chosen course. We will do a little but of theory in the morning and the rest of the day is a practical, hands on, training day.

Our face to face training courses are available in group sessions 221 or 121, there are separate pricing for groups and 121 sessions.

You are required to bring your own lunch.

Entry Requirement & Prerequisites:

• This course is open to anyone over the age of 18.
• No previous experience needed.

Course duration:
1 Day in the classroom, 9.30am – 2.30pm.

Assessment and examination method:

There will be continuous formative assessments taking place during the day while you practise. On completion of the training day, you will be expected to answer verbal questions and perform a baby massage treatment with minimal direction from your tutor, this is your summative assessment.

Qualification:
Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Teaching Certificate in Baby Massage.

Insurance cover:
Once you complete this training you will be entitled to gain insurance. All courses at Graceful Aura Training Academy are accredited and recognised by CPD Professional Accreditation
